Recently I felt inspired to troll through images dating back to autumn of 2008. Oldies but goodies. There was one shoot in particular that had always been a favourite of the season but unfortunately hadn't received much attention or time due to an impending deadline.

It was one of those shoots that had a certain magic about it. The concept was birthed from something out of a photographic fantasy. I created a large tube of satin into which the model wriggled feet first. Laying nearly nude in a claustrophobically small tube with an industrial fan blowing up through her feet and my lens just inches above her head, this girl was a model in every sense of the word!

Everything was finished in just under half an hour, with my lens madly chasing her every minute of the shoot - a true indication of a quality model. Thankfully she did not have a diva spirit to match. All in all a perfect package.

With this series originally dating back to 2008, it had since been filed away in the back of my mind as a "must revisit" shoot. Friday afternoon I had the opportunity to do just that, and I was delighted to discover two treasures I hadn't previously had the time to polish.
