While Emily & Jacob first met through mutual friends at a conference, they later discovered there were several times prior that their paths might have crossed as well. As fate would have, it seems it was only a matter of time before they connect. But on this particular occasion, the day that sealed the deal, they found themselves together in an elevator when Emily decided she'd better make her move before they reached their floor and the opportunity might be lost yet again. Their love grew strong and fast with a proposal in front of Paris' Eiffel Tower and a celebratory tandem bike ride through the gardens of Versailles soon to follow.

And so, to celebrate their story, we set out to document their love in Emily's new home base for the summer, New York City. Beginning at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir with views of the Upper West Side in the distance, we wound our way south along 5th Ave through the UES with a stop at The French Cultural Institute, an homage to Emily's time living in France and the very spot they got engaged. Next up, back to Central Park as we chased the sun to the ever-romantic Bow Bridge for the delicious pre-dusk light.
