NYC City Hall Wedding Photographer & Brooklyn Bridge Portraits | Megan + Matt

The Roosevelt Hotel. He used to walk past it every day to and from work. That is, before he moved to Texas and fell in love with her. So it seemed only fitting that when they slipped away to New York for quiet nuptials at NYC City Hall, they begin their day at this remarkable landmark.

While Megan slipped into her stunning navy Manolo Blahniks, Matt put the finishing touches on a colourful bouquet he hand selected for her the night before. She pinned on his daisy boutonniere while he straightened his spotted J.Crew tie, taking a moment to cherish those precious details before getting swept up in Manhattan's bustling streets.

Whether it was Matt and Megan's wedding day glow or undeniable southern charm (most likely it was a combination of both!), as we wound through City Hall Park and onto the Brooklyn Bridge for portraits people repeatedly called out their congratulations to the newlywed couple. And what's more, in addition to this deeply personal and private celebration of their love, they've already begun plans to join with their family and friends for a big reception back home - Texas style.
