She's from California. He was a Texan living in New York. But on a fateful Memorial Day weekend circa 2013 in Las Vegas, while she was celebrating her birthday and he was with a bachelor party, they locked eyes poolside at the Marquee Day Club and the rest, as the saying goes, is history. The next 2 years were filled with long distance romance, multiple cross-country moves, and the addition of their lovable golden doodle, Tucker. Then in May of 2015, while hiking the seaside Italian villages of Cinque Terre, Chris popped the big question on Monterosso beach.

Celebrating their love in the city they now together call home, we ventured the streets of their West Village neighborhood on an early autumn day capturing a few personal favourites while en route. Winding along from their go-to spot for seafood eats, The Clam, to their frequent oasis in the quasi-secret gardens at St. Luke's in the Fields, we wrapped our time together with a stroll along the Hudson River just in time to catch sunset and give Tucker a run at the park. With plans for a beautiful 2016 California ranch wedding celebration, their story is proof that what happens in Vegas... most definitely does not always stay in Vegas.
