Although Stephanie & Matt both hail from New Jersey, it wasn't until attending the same university in Virginia that they first met. Friends for 3 years throughout their time at school (although Matt concedes he always kind of *liked* her), it was fateful summer internships in NYC that finally sparked the prospect of something more. After 3 months of dating they returned for their senior year at college, greeted by excitement and little surprise among friends that they were finally a couple. Jump ahead to present day life, theirs is a laughter-filled love complete with shared birthdays and an enthusiasm for adventure.

Inspired by their recent trip to Italy, we started the engagement session with Panna Cotta and Prosecco celebrating life, love and great food amidst the stucco walls & ivy-covered garden at Italian restaurant, Palma. From there we ventured through their West Village neighborhood, stopping at the iconic 19th Century Arch in memory-filled Washington Square Park and the stunning Gothic Revival architecture of The Church of the Ascension before heading up their brownstone-lined street... including the very spot just steps from their home where Matt asked the *big* question in February of this year.
