They grew up in the same town with the same circle of friends, and yet somehow their paths never crossed. It wasn't until Jennifer moved back to Connecticut about 6 years ago, after living for a time in San Diego, that her world would finally collide with Tom's. A friendship quickly ensued, although Tom acknowledges with a smile that he knew right away he hoped it would be more. Fast forward 6 months, and they became just that.

So, on a gorgeous summer afternoon, in an effort to capture the way their faces light up at each glance, kiss and snuggle, we wandered through a handful of DUMBO's highlights. From it's cobblestone streets to Brooklyn Bridge Park - with the Tom Fruin Glass House and breathtaking Manhattan views across the East River - we rounded off our time with a delicious treat at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.
