Old Field Club Wedding Photographer | Christina + Alex

For Christina & Alex, their wedding was about fusing carefully thought-out details and family tradition with countless tender moments throughout the day. With an incredible attention to beauty in the finer points, they opted for NYC's Jacque Torres love themed chocolates as guest favors and "champagne" bubbles for a ceremony exit while featuring a delicate heirloom handkerchief with a foxing family handwritten note,  a "You & Me" journal to fill with memories from their day, and charming Kate Spade Keds for Christina to change into for the dancing portion of the party.

Family tradition made a cameo, honouring the blend of their Jewish & Greek heritages. From the beautiful Ketuba signing through to the Horah and an impromptu Chuppah hand-held by their nearest & dearest for an even more impromptu weather-induced indoor ceremony, the boundless joy and love surrounding them in their family & friends was a direct reflection of just how special (and highly anticipated!) this day's festivities truly were.

What's more, it was the sweet moments (both planned and unplanned!) that added heart to the story of their day: an affectionate card exchange, a spontaneous phone call between the bride & groom pre first look (and the smile it brought to Christina's face!), shared laughter at the discovery of their hired vintage Bentley being towed from the ceremony location, and Alex holding an umbrella over his bride for the incredibly romantic drizzly portraits. Having been together more than a decade, the celebration of Christina & Alex's love was the perfect testament to just how well they know what truly makes each other smile.
