She went to school in Arizona and he went to school in Colorado, so it wasn't until they both lived in Minnesota that their paths first crossed online 3 years ago. Bonding over a shared love of the outdoors - and more specifically, breathtaking mountain views - they continued building adventure-seeking memories together with an engagement to follow on a SoHo rooftop in NYC circa August 2015. So, how to celebrate their love? An intimate autumn fete set in a small walkable town nestled amidst the mountains of Colorado with easy access to horse riding & hiking seemed a fitting choice. Needless to say, as soon as I heard Rachel & Aaron lived in Minnesota (where I grew up), got engaged in New York (where I live now), and would be getting married in Colorado (where I was born) it seemed a serendipitous match.
So we embarked to document Rachel & Aaron's love in a natural outdoor autumn oasis (akin to the ambience for next year's "I do's") set in the heart of the very place they got engaged. With wanderlust as our guide, we gladly got lost in the wild woodland "garden" that is Central's Park's 'The Ramble'. Winding pathways, stone arches and lakeside perches combined with this duo's ultra sweet love made for a beautiful laughter-filled morning. Rachel & Aaron, I am so excited to document your wedding festivities next year in Beaver Creek!
